Yorkshire Pride - Annual £12,000 Draw Winner

A life-long supporter of Yorkshire County Cricket Club from York has won £12,000 in the Yorkshire Pride Annual Draw.

Mrs Anne Henson joined the Yorkshire Pride membership scheme in 2008 and has been a loyal supporter of the club since the glory days of Vic Wilson’s captaincy, witnessing his team succeed in regaining the championship title at Harrogate in 1962.

She thought nothing more of her monthly Direct Debit subscription of less than £10 until she received a call from Yorkshire Cricket Foundation manager Will Saville informing her of the substantial win and personally inviting her to Headingley for a cheque presentation.

Even though some exciting changes are being made to Yorkshire Pride, membership continues to cost just £2 per week. The changes made by the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation team, who are now running the scheme, aim to enhance the experience of its members.

These enhancements include changing the frequency of our draws to 4 per month to ensure that all player payments are processed and no member misses a chance to win one of our fantastic cash prizes, ranging from £10 up to £12,000 in our Annual Draw.

This in turn will also give members more opportunities to win our new uncapped rollover that starts at £500 and increased by £250 each draw until won. With a new prize structure and fantastic membership benefits on offer there has never been a better time to join.

The Yorkshire Pride scheme donates to good causes close to all our hearts – including the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation and the Yorkshire Academy. Becoming a member will help keep Yorkshire’s rich cricketing heritage alive… and you can bet your money will count!
