Cricket in the Classroom Availability

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation’s flagship project still has spaces for academic year 2016/17!

Cricket in the Classroom is the Foundation’s flagship project, offering key stage 2 children an opportunity to visit the stadium, learn about Yorkshire CCC and train in the cricket centre. Since its inception, Cricket in the Classroom has enabled over 30,000 children the opportunity to visit Headingley and experience an inspiring day at the home of Yorkshire CCC.

“We had a lovely time at Headingley, the playing of the cricket was by far the best part of the day both in terms of the delivery by your team and what the children learnt. It was also the part of the day that they enjoyed the most.” – Teacher attending Cricket in the Classroom.

Cricket in the Classroom takes place on Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time and can facilitate up to 60 pupils per day. We are now fully booked until the New Year but are offering places on the following days:

Wednesday 11th January
Thursday 12th January
Wednesday 18th January
Thursday 19th January
Wednesday 25th January
Thursday 26th January

Whilst there are other slots available, we advise that you enquire within to ensure you secure a place!
