Become a Rose Runner!

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation Running Club made its debut back in May and after two successful 10 week blocks, the club is back permanently!

The YCF Running Club will start on Monday 9th January at 5:30pm and will continue to run every Monday at this time throughout the duration of the year.

The club will known as #RoseRunners in relation to Yorkshire’s famous white rose and will provide residents of Leeds and Yorkshire with the opportunity to increase their physical activity levels.

As part of our Health and Well-being theme, the primary aim of the club will be to provide those in the surrounding areas an opportunity to improve their health; inclusive of physical, mental and social health.

The Foundation have tried to remove potential barriers for participation by ensuring the group is suitable for even the most novice of runners.

By incorporating a variety of games and activities into sessions, the run leaders are breaking the monotony of road running and making it an enjoyable, social experience for those attending.

The group is led by fully trained run leaders, with Run Leeds kindly supporting the Foundation and being on hand to offer practical running advice to those in need.

We are super excited to get the club up and running again! We think our rebranding of ‘#RoseRunner’ gives the club a strong identity and association with Yorkshire Cricket. We will see you in January! -Beth Cook, The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation
