Search for Santa Flight with New Charity Partner
On 7th December, The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation took to the skies, together with multiflight and new charity partners Children’s Heart Surgery Fund, to mark the start of their new partnership.
Charities from all over Yorkshire invited children to meet at Leeds Bradford Airport for a Christmas party to kick of the festive season before boarding a Monarch flight in a search for Santa. They soared high and low across the county, listening out for jingle bells, looking for red noses or anything that would indicate that the man himself was near!
Magic was in the air as Santa appeared on the plane and greeted all the children with his presence and some presents!
Yorkshire CCC Players Will Rhodes and Jack Leaning boarded the flight, so that the children could take pictures with them and they joined in with the festivities!
“We’re really happy to be here and taking part in the search for Santa flight. It’s such a special opportunity for the children, one that they will remember forever.” – Will Rhodes, Yorkshire CCC Player
They continued to fly over Yorkshire having a good old Christmas sing-a-long and upon landing, Santa was kind enough to spend a little more time with the children back at Leeds Bradford Airport, giving them all a gift they could take home to remember the day.
