Cricket in the Classroom- from a Child's Perspective!

Ainthorpe Primary took part in Cricket in the Classroom to capture what it’s like from a child’s perspective…

The YCF would like to thank all pupils and teachers from the school for their fantastic involvement in the making of this video.

Cricket in the Classroom is the Yorkshire Cricket Foundations flagship scheme and runs every Wednesday and Thursday during term time for key stage two primary school children across the county.

Cricket in the Classroom gives children the chance to get out the classroom that they are used to and have a unique and educational learning experience within the grounds of Headingley.

The action packed day runs from 10am – 2.30pm and includes a range of cricket themed activities in our East Stand classrooms, learning about Yorkshire CCC and what goes on at an international venue as well as taking part in a coaching session in the Yorkshire Cricket Centre.

After the group has had their lunch, they are then taken on a tour of the ground which includes places such as the Yorkshire Cricket Museum, changing rooms, 1st team training facilities and media areas.

Bookings are now being taken for the 2016/17 academic year. To book a place or for more information contact Beth on:
