Rose Runners Marching On...

The Rose Runners have ‘marched’ on this month to make it through to the lighter nights. The team have grown by one member, upping the total Rose Runner count to 20 members.

What did we do this month?
March saw the running club take on 4 different sessions which included negative splits, timed laps, interval training and hill running. The combination of running sessions and some target setting has seen some of the more novice Rose Runners improve in ability and confidence.
As the lighter nights are on their way, the running club will look to make use of local green spaces such as Becketts Park and Burley Park to incorporate different activities into the sessions.
A short questionnaire completed by some of the Rose Runners showed that 100% enjoyed running as part of a group and felt more motivated by running with other people.
