College set to face the Diamonds

At 2pm this Thursday, the 19th July, the Yorkshire Cricket College will play the Yorkshire Diamonds at Weetwood cricket ground.

The match will act as a warm up game for the Diamonds, who begin their Kia Super League (KSL) campaign against Western Storm on the 22nd of this month. It will be an incredible opportunity for the college team to play against domestic and international cricketers who travel the world to work on their game, develop new skills and experiences in order to optimise their ability.

YCC head coach David foster is well aware of the test that awaits his team

“This game will be our toughest test to date. With the first match of the KSL season just 3 days after this one we’re delighted to be able to help them prepare for their summer. I’m sure the Diamonds will have their game faces on, it will be a very tough challenge for the lads but one that I hope we can learn a lot from”

There is still time to enrol for September 2018. The next Yorkshire Cricket College open day is on Monday 23rd July, starting at 2pm at Emerald Headingley. To register to attend, click here.
