Grey Fox Applications closing this week

Applications for this year’s Grey Fox Trophy, an over 50’s cricket competition delivered by the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation, close on Friday 22nd March.

The competition gives people in this age bracket the opportunity to enjoy a competitive game of cricket, regardless of ability or time out of the sport.

With over limits per bowler, batsmen retiring on 35 and age-related run handicaps all in place, the tournament really is an inclusive event for anyone wishing to take part.

The top four teams from the round robin stage will progress onto the semi-finals day at New Rover CC in Adel, before competing for the Grey Fox Trophy at Scarborough Cricket Club.

The teams who don’t qualify for the semi-finals will compete for the Plate Trophy, of which the final will be contested immediately before the Grey Fox final at Scarborough.

To enter a team or to find out more information, contact Nick.Robinson@yorkshirecricketfoundation.com or call 01132033632.
