YCF Newsletter

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation (YCF) Newsletter is an opportunity to see how Yorkshire County Cricket Club is connecting with local communities throughout the county. Through various projects that run both in and out of season, the YCF and its partners provide schools, cricket clubs, members and non-members young and old the chance to meet the players, go on behind the scenes tours, partake in cricket and sport based educational programmes, play on the Headingley pitch and enhance young peoples’ job prospects to name a few.

The above opportunities are established projects currently run by the YCF and have been warmly received by schools, cricket clubs, member and non-members throughout the county. However, as a growing organisation, the aims and objectives of the YCF are perpetually evolving. One of these aims is to spread the work we do throughout the county, ensuring we more effectively reach and deliver more projects across Yorkshire. From Middlesbrough to Scarborough, Skipton to Doncaster our goal is to make Yorkshire CCC more accessible to everyone.

We are currently planning schemes that will take place over the Scarborough festival, a schools based programme in the South of Yorkshire and an exciting project that will involve club cricketers in every Yorkshire and Humber region.

Information regarding existing projects as well as developing ones can be found in the newsletter. To find out what we are delivering now or in the future in your region and to be in with a chance of winning a signed Alistair Cook England shirt, sign up to our newsletter at the bottom of this page.
