Sohail Raz - Community Development Officer (Leeds)

My role within the foundation is to increase participation and ultimately, to expand the game to a more diverse and wider audience. This will be done through developing and implementing a range of initiatives that engage the diverse communities in Leeds to be sustainably active in cricket.

In 2012 I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Sports Development with Coaching and have since been involved in community sports coaching.

Prior to this job, I worked as a primary school teacher in Leeds for 5 years and ran various sports club for the school.
Away from work, I play cricket for Methley Cricket Club in the Bradford Premier League and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
