Meet Rick, new Wicketz Hull Development Officer

If you haven’t heard…Wicketz is heading to Hull!

We caught up with Rick, who is Hull’s Wicketz development officer, to find out more about him and his role…

My role within the Foundation is to co-ordinate the fantastic Wicketz Programme in the great city of Hull. The primary aim of the project is to engage with children, aged 8-16, in all communities, providing fun and enjoyable cricket hubs, each with regular workshops that will work to make a difference to people’s lives. I also aim to raise the profile of the White Rose again in the City of Hull.

Before joining the team here at YCF, I was a Duty Manger of a Council Leisure Centre in Beverley (East Yorkshire) as well as working in various educational establishments as a Lecturer, Mentor and Assessor.

Outside of work, I enjoy following all sports, especially Cricket, Football & Boxing.
