Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England’s goal is to have one in ten people across England training in vital MHFA skills with the hope that together we can help improve the mental health of our society.
The training provides learners with the knowledge and skills to provide emergency Mental Health First Aid to those who may be living with, or experiencing ill mental health, with the main aim being exactly the same as a first aid course- to preserve life.
The two day course is offered (funding depending) to our volunteers and/or staff who can make a difference to the communities they work within, supporting those in Yorkshire to lead healthier, happier lives.
Level 2 Certificate: Awareness of Mental Health Problems
A FREE nationally recognised qualification. There are no exams, just assessments. To find out more, click to read the booklet below.

Dementia Friends Training
In a bid to ensure Emerald Headingley Stadium is a Dementia Friendly Environment, all staff and volunteers of Yorkshire Cricket are encouraged to complete Dementia Friends training, which includes attending a 30 minute info session, or completing the same session online. The course offers insight into what it is like living with dementia, and best practise for helping those living with dementia.
