VACANCY - Yorkshire Cricket Board

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at the Yorkshire Cricket Board as the Cricket Development Manager for North Yorkshire (excluding Selby District and the Tees Valley). Applicants need a sound knowledge and understanding of cricket; a commitment to increase adult player retention and participation at all levels; proven administrative and managerial ability; and good communication skills.

The post covers cricket club, leagues and participation development. It is a managerial position with regional responsibility, including the Chance to Shine programme in North Yorkshire. It also includes some county-wide responsibilities under the Director of Development. Playing and coaching experience may be an advantage but the post is not a coaching one.

The successful applicant will need to be energetic and enthusiastic and will join an established and successful team led by the Director of Development. We are looking to fill the vacancy from 1 April 2014 or as soon after that date.
