Top Gun Heats Begin
Saturday 15th March marked the beginning of the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation Top Gun Heats. The first weekend saw heats being held in both South & North Yorkshire with club bowlers lining up to see how fast they are and earn bragging rights amongst teammates. The current leaders in each of those areas are listed below.
This weekend sees the start of the West Yorkshire heats at Headingley Cricket Ground. 25 bowlers have already signed up to take part in the event in the cricket centre and will be striving to get into the regional top 4 ahead of the regional finals being held on the outfield at T20 matches.
The Yorkshire Cricket Foundations Top Gun is touring the county aiming to find the fastest club bowler. The heats are aiming to find the fastest 4 bowlers in the North, South, East & West. They will then go against each other in the regional finals.
