Less than a week after the Yorkshire Cricket College’s most recent cohort graduated, Emerald Headingley Stadium welcomed new students through the doors of the Yorkshire Cricket Centre to hand in their GCSE results. In doing so, completing the final stage of enrolment before starting their 2-year NCFE level 3 in sport at the home of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

In what has been a turbulent year for learners, the relief and excitement amongst the students was clear to see. Drawing a line under this academic year and having the opportunity to begin a new chapter of their education.

On the back of fantastic BTEC results last week, we are delighted with the number of new students starting with us in September. We will see the total number of students at the Yorkshire Cricket College reach around 60. This number will still allow us to deliver small class sizes which optimises our learners experience in both the classroom and on the cricket pitch

Nick Robinson, Head of College
