NEW Yorkshire Cricket College Classrooms

The Yorkshire Cricket College are excited to announce the opening of our new classrooms in the Carnegie Pavilion at Emerald Headingley stadium.

Located on the 4th floor of the building, the classrooms benefit from an incredible view of the ground that provide one of the most inspiring learning environments in the county. Following Yorkshire Cricket’s procurement of the Pavilion from Leeds Beckett university, the college have secured the classrooms as a new, permanent home.

Students at the college study a 2-year, level 3 NCFE in Sport with cricket built into their timetable. Our learners will move out of their old classrooms, based in the East Stand, and into their new home after the October half-term break.

Currently setup to abide by social distancing measures, the rooms will evolve to become a communal learning area to promote group interaction and cooperative approach to classroom sessions.

The prospect of moving into the new classrooms is incredibly exciting for students and college staff alike. As the college grows, we want to provide an exceptional experience for all our learners and that includes providing outstanding facilities for both educational and practical sessions. We hope that the move to the Carnegie Pavilion will further inspire the college groups and help them to realise their potential at the Yorkshire Cricket College
