2021 Grey Fox Trophy

The Grey Fox Trophy returns for 2021!

The Grey Fox Trophy is a Yorkshire based over 50’s cricket competition administered and delivered by the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation.

The cost to enter a team is £25; the tournament format includes a round robin group stage with the top 4 teams progressing onto the semi-finals day.

Meanwhile, those who don’t qualify can opt into competing for the Plate trophy. A knockout competition with the final 2 teams standing qualifying for finals day in Scarborough. The winners of the semi-finals day make up the other game played at Scarborough and play for the Grey Fox Trophy.

With age-related run handicaps in place, batsmen retiring on 35 and over limits per bowler, the competition is not just aimed at cricketers still playing on a regular basis. It gives those who have retired or are unable to commit to regular formal cricket the opportunity to don their whites and enjoy a game of competitive cricket in a friendly environment.
