OPPORTUNITY: CASUAL COACHES CALL-OUT

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is a registered charity that delivers community projects across the county. Using the power of sport and cricket in particular, the Foundation aims to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of those living in Yorkshire.

The work of the foundation falls under four key themes: • Education • Health & Wellbeing • Participation • Heritage.

We are now looking for casual coaches to help with our grassroots cricket provision for young people this year and YCF has Yorkshire CCC Charitable Youth Trust funding to train you if you are the right fit but not qualified.

Training:

ECB Foundation I Coach Programme: the course is a blend of e-learning and face-to-face modules led by ECB Coach Developers will explore what coaching looks like, the impact you can have as an ECB Foundation I Coach, the skills you can help players to develop and how you can learn from your experiences. By committing yourself to this programme and becoming a qualified coach you will become an important part of the ECB’s coaching family that works together to help players improve, have fun, be safe and learn at every stage of their development.

- Help with coaching on one or more of our fantastic YCF projects including: Pop Up Cricket, Enjoy Cricket and our Crick-EAT programme.

To qualify for discounted training from YCF, you should meet the following criteria:

Essential:

18 years-old and above
Enthusiastic
Energetic
Passionate for working with youngsters
Help deliver a Foundation Easter/Summer programme 2022

We are actively looking for casual coaches with a deadline for funded courses at the end of April this year, with the aim for qualified coaches to help run Foundation Easter/Summer programmes 2022.
