Yorkshire Cricket Foundation finalists for global awards

The shortlist for the Think Global Awards 2022 has been announced.

Yorkshire Cricket Foundation (YCF) are honoured to be named as a finalist in the Community and Non-profit category, alongside Amnesty International, CLEAR Global / Translators without Borders, LIFT Ireland and Open Kitchens.

The foundation was shortlisted by a panel of 15 expert judges for groundbreaking work in Yorkshire over the past 18 months.

The Community and Non-profit award recognises global organisations with the most significant community-driven achievements.

Will Saville, the Managing Director, for the YCF, said: “It’s a great honour and privilege to be recognised alongside inspirational international organisations.

The theme for this year’s wards is ‘Reimagining Culture,’ – chosen to spotlight the dramatic changes in our work life and how we interact with each other over the past 24 months.

Since the start of the pandemic there has been an unprecedented shift in how the world operates, and as a result, how companies and organizations work.

Speaking in regards to the shortlist announcement, Simon Hodgkins, the founder of the Think Global Awards, said: “We were delighted to see so many organizations, from start-ups to global companies, enter the latest awards.

“It is inspiring to see so many companies have not only survived but have thrived.”

The awards are supported by the Think Global Forum, VTQ Magazine, VistaTalks, and Vistatec, and year-on-year continue to grow in popularity around the world.

Think Global Awards 2022

The fifth year of Think Global Awards marks a record for entries for the awards with hundreds of applicants whittled down to just 71 finalists across 16 categories.

Winners will be announced virtually this year on Wednesday 20 April, 2022 and broadcast to audiences tuning in from Europe, the US, Africa, and Asia.
