Meet the Interns!

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation have newly appointed two interns to assist with upcoming projects, events and matches for the 2107 season.

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation, charity arm of Yorkshire County Cricket Club work under 5 core themes, which are the basis for all projects and charity work. The YCF are constantly working on new and innovative ways to expand current work, build on existing projects and developing new ideas, which our new interns will facilitate.

Assistant Project Officer
My role is to plan and promote the Yorkies, the Major Match Day Support Team, who help out on matches that take place at both Headingley and Scarborough. As well as this, I handle charity requests coming into the foundation and work on planning and delivering new fundraising events and strategies. I also assist with documenting news stories for the YCF website and contributing to social media platforms.

In addition to this, I have also recently finished my Sports Business Degree at Leeds Beckett University.

Assistant Project Officer
My role within the YCF currently consist of working with our Major Match Day Support Team, the Yorkies. I help with the planning and organising of the Yorkies, as well as coordinating on the day. Other projects I am involved in include Children’s Day, administrating East Leeds camps and assisting with website content.

In addition to working with the YCF, I am also finishing my Sports Coaching degree at Leeds Beckett University.
