Activations Countdown #ChildrensDay2017

On Sunday 16th July, the annual Children’s Day, which is one of the biggest free events in the city will take place at Headingley Carnegie Stadium and Leeds Rhinos Foundation and The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation are pleased to announce that this year’s event will include over 25 activities for Children to take part in on the day.

With thousands of people set to attend the huge event, Children’s Day is always a great opportunity to showcase your organisation and as the excitement for the big day increases over the next month, we will be announcing a new activity each day on social media building up to the event.

British Gas
British Gas, who are the biggest energy supplier in the country serving around twelve million homes in the United Kingdom, will be providing Energy themed Game Shows and interactive Bingo on Children’s Day.

Heart Yorkshire
Heart Yorkshire Radio is part of 33 regional commercial radio shows in the UK reaching more than 7.4 million people every week and will be providing the Heart Yorkshire Children’s Zone including professional face painters, balloon designs, giant board games and giant deckchairs for photos on the day so make sure you give them a visit on Children’s Day. Piranha Barber Academy
Piranha Barber Academy will be working alongside Ross’s Barber Shop with pop up hair salon to provide free haircuts on the day. The team of barbers including Rhinos stars Jordan Baldwinson and Josh Walters will be working together to deliver the haircuts taking you through all the phases of fade, shape up, hair pattern and scissor work, so don’t miss out on a great offer from Piranha Barber Academy!

Leeds Rhinos Foundation
Leeds Rhinos Foundation will be joining The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation on Children’s Day 2017 along with 40 other organisations to provide guided stadium tours and inflatable skills zones.
