The Grey Fox Trophy is a Yorkshire-based over 50’s cricket competition administered and delivered by the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation.

The tournament, which takes place from April-September annually, includes a round robin group stage with the top four teams progressing into the semi-final’s, taking place on Sunday 27th August, 2023 (venue tbc). The winning teams will compete for the trophy and the runners-up will compete in the Plate trophy, as part of finals day which takes place at Scarborough Cricket Club.

With age-related run handicaps in place, batsmen retiring on 30 and over limits per bowler, the competition is not just aimed at cricketers still playing on a regular basis. It gives those who have retired or are unable to commit to regular, formal cricket the opportunity to don their whites and enjoy a game of competitive cricket in a friendly environment.
