#RunAndTalk Event

We are inviting YOU! Yes, YOU! Along to our next #RunAndTalk event to promote your mental and physical health…

WHEN? Monday 4th February 2019

TIME? 5.30pm

WHERE? Yorkshire Cricket Centre (St Michael’s Lane, LS6 3BU)

WHY? Break the negative stigma around mental health by talking about mental health, raising awareness for mental health problems AND promote your own mental and physical health by taking part in a mixed ability social run/walk! Not to mention FREE Biscuits and Brews afterwards back at the Yorkshire Cricket Centre.

COST? Completely FREE!

Everyone and anyone is welcome to join in! and we hope you will come and join us in tackling some of the issues associated with mental health!

We’ll be providing Biscuits and Brews back at the Yorkshire Cricket Centre afterwards alongside some Time to Talk too!
If you’re quick enough, you can grab an exclusive YCF #RunAndTalk t-shirt! These will be distributed on a first come first served basis.

A bit about #RunAndTalk

#RunAndTalk is an England Athletics campaign, supported by Mind the mental health charity, to improve mental wellbeing through running and to break down the stigma associated with mental health by getting people talking about it.

The #RunAndTalk campaign aims to improve mental health through running in England by:

- Getting people talking about mental health, sharing their experiences and removing stigma – Raising awareness of mental health problems – Supporting people experiencing mental health problems to be physically active through running, whether that is to support them in starting, returning to or continuing to run

Come Along!
The event is FREE and you can just turn up at the Yorkshire Cricket Centre and walk, run or jog to promote your own, and other people’s, mental health!

Our Rose Runners and Couch to 5k Challengers will be joining, will you?
