Prof. Michael Morgan - Trustee

In 2000, Mike moved to Leeds from Norfolk, where he had been a regular and enthusiastic cricketer in the Norfolk League, taking up a post at the University of Leeds as Professor of Food Biochemistry and continuing his research in food safety and specifically food allergy. Mike became Head of the School of Food Science & Nutrition in 2007 until 2017. Of the 4 core themes of the YCF, Mike is particularly interested in ‘Health and Well-being’ and ‘Education’
