My role at the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is the Wicketz Activator. I run weekly cricket sessions at local community centres in Bradford. My aim is to get 8-19 years involved in participating and volunteering within the programme. As the project has grown at fast pace in last two years the focus is now on improving the physical, mental and social health of children by providing an opportunity to engage in weekly sessions, workshops and events.
Alongside this role I currently work as a mortgage associate for HSBC part-time. I am also a qualified football coach; I run my own after school club at a local primary school and at a coaching academy.
Away from work, I play football at local sports centre, and play cricket with friends once a week. Other full-time jobs are being a father and a husband.
