Adults

YCF partnered up with Leeds Premier League, Quaid e Azam Sunday Cricket League, Cricket Arena and Birkby Rose Hill CC through our core cities programme, each city, Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield, and areas of Kirklees play a city competition with the winners coming together to play at the Yorkshire Hundred Finals.

The Leeds competition is now in its four year with the other cities following suit. With coloured balls and coloured kit the month-long tournament provides plenty of excitement and great short games for all the family to enjoy Live streaming is available on some of our matches and game reports feature on local new channels.

Across both adult and junior competitions, we welcomed nearly 500 people across our competitions.

Across the 4 regional competitions in both age categories, 46 teams tried their luck at becoming the YCF Hundred champions!

Over 100 highly competitive matches were played in both formats, culminating in a special finals day showdown.

Juniors (12-15 year olds)

In 2022 we launched the junior Hundred competition through our core cities work alongside the ECB Hundred in August to provide cricketing opportunities to a wider audience.

Each city of Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield and the district of Kirklees held their own city competition with the winners coming together on the Yorkshire Hundred finals day at Park Avenue, Bradford.

In total there were 16 teams, 30 games, 128 children, 12-15 age group with each team having a minimum of three females taking part. The competition is 8-aside and played with a softball with a key focus on fun and enjoyment.
