Enjoy Cricket 2020

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation and the Charitable Youth Trust are pleased to announce applications are now been accepted for the Enjoy Cricket scheme.

The scheme has been adapted to align with the ECB’s social distancing rules, which means it is deemed safe for groups of 5 children and 1 coach to train at the same time provided they are kept separate.

Enjoy Cricket continues to facilitate children aged 5 and upwards to participate in an organised, fun, and safe environment from as little as £2 per session. Due to the current restrictions through social distancing, Enjoy Cricket courses have reduced hours to a maximum of 3 hours per group, between 1-5 days. We are encouraging clubs to consider running two courses a day, this can be done on a morning and afternoon basis, targeting different children throughout the summer.

A preferred example may look like this:

(Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
Morning groups 10.00am-11.30am (90minutes) ages -5-8-year-old
Afternoon groups 12.30pm – 2.00pm (90minutes) ages -9-11-year-old.

Clubs/centres may charge each child per session, anywhere from between £2 to £5 per session. This year additional paid coaches will be required to accommodate sessions, therefore a contribution of £2 from each paying child must be sent to the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation.

For further details on guidelines, payments and to register your interest in the Enjoy Cricket Scheme please contact Kendal James, Participation Manager at the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation on

Please note the deadline for applications is Tuesday 21st July.
