Yorkshire Cricket College Open Evenings 2020

The Yorkshire Cricket College are delighted to announce upcoming Open Evening dates for students interested in learning more about studying with the college from September 2021.

The Yorkshire Cricket College offers 16-18-year-olds the chance to combine cricket with education, representing the college in matches whilst completing a two-year NCFE level 3 extended diploma in sport.

A fully coursework-based programme, the qualification is equivalent to 3 A Levels. The educational aspect is provided by our partners SCL and all lessons are taught at Emerald Headingley Stadium.

Throughout their time at the college, students also have the chance to further their personal development by partaking in extracurricular qualifications, work experience and volunteering.

Work experience plays a pivotal role in the course and opportunities are readily available across departments of Yorkshire Cricket for students to develop their skills and gain a unique insight into some of the roles inside a professional sporting environment.

The course includes a diverse range of modules, allowing for a number of different higher education routes and job roles in the future.

The Open Evenings will take place at Emerald Headingley Stadium on Tuesday 27th October and Tuesday 24th November. Attendees will be able to learn more about what the course entails, have a look at all our learning facilities and meet course tutors and coaches.

Please note we are continually monitoring the situation in line with COVID-19 restrictions. If we are unable to deliver the open evenings at Emerald Headingley Stadium, they will be delivered through an online presentation.
