Vacancy: Community Activator Coach Apprentice
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation as a Community Activator, with this new apprenticeship role it falls directly under the Participation theme of the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation.
The Community Activator will promote, organise, and deliver fun, inclusive, and engaging cricket activities during school holidays, with the aim encourage a happier healthier, active lifestyle. The Community Activator will be more than activity and sports leader -they will be equipped and mentored to develop a deeper understanding of the different communities, whilst gaining the opportunity for invaluable insight into barriers for taking part in physical activity.
The role is flexible, individuals can expect to work varied and unsociable hours, including evenings, weekends and school holidays.
Knowledge and experience of cricket is not essential, however a willingness to understand and take on necessary training to develop is essential.
