The Mobile Museum hits Scarborough

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation’s mobile museum hit the road for the 127th edition of the Scarborough Cricket Festival to watch Championship leaders Yorkshire take on their nearest rivals Durham.

Over the 4 days, around 17,000 cricket fans passed through the gates with supporters of all ages taking time to look round the exhibits in the museum ranging from FS Jackson’s bat to the modern day playing shirts of Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root as well as fascinating facts, figures and stories regarding the players and grounds both past and present.

The museum will be back to enjoy the sea air in Scarborough next year for both Championship games.

The mobile museum provides a fantastic opportunity for supporters throughout Yorkshire to experience the history and prestige of Yorkshire CCC away from the Headingley
