Mobile Museum Displays at Sheffield Collegiate

The mobile museum made its way down to South Yorkshire to visit Abbeydale Road, the home of Sheffield Collegiate Cricket Club. Boasting former players like Joe Root and Michael Vaughan, over 1000 spectators arrived to watch a Collegiate Celebrity XI take on a Yorkshire XI in a Twenty20 match.

The museum was overwhelmed by enthusiastic juniors who were still buzzing after taking part in a coaching session taken by the Yorkshire players including 1st team captain Andrew Gale. A constant flow of spectators throughout the day stopped off to browse the exhibits, taking special interest in the strong relationship between Sheffield and Yorkshire CCC.

In its 150th year, Yorkshire CCC is proud of its history and through the mobile museum, the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation can display some of the exhibits that have contributed to this history at your event.

The museum is a must see for anyone who comes to watch Yorkshire. The history of the club is what makes it great
