Diverse Communities

Our Diverse Communities work in Bradford is ran in conjunction with the England Cricket Board (ECB) and aims to increase participation in formal and informal games of Cricket as well as training and recruiting volunteers from local communities.

The ECB recognise cricket is a game for everyone. It embraces diversity and inclusivity through players, coaches, administrators and volunteers, regardless of ethnicity, age or gender.

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation (YCF) has delivered on behalf of the ECB a Core Cities project in both Leeds and Bradford with the mission to break down barriers, build relationships, and create more opportunities within South Asian Communities.

We also launched a new pilot in Sheffield in 2022 – more information about that project here.
