Wicketz is a national programme funded by The Lord Taverners, with delivery in Yorkshire taking place across Leeds, Bradford and Hull. Using cricket as the main engagement tool, Wicketz Yorkshire aims to create a lasting positive impact for young people living in areas of high deprivation.

The programme supports 8–19-year-olds from underrepresented communities, helping to remove barriers to sport and provide safe, structured opportunities outside of the street environment. Alongside cricket, Wicketz focuses on building confidence, improving wellbeing and strengthening community cohesion, ensuring young people can access the wider benefits that sport can offer.
