8th March 2026

12:00pm – 4:00pm

Ramgarhia Sikh Sports Centre, Chapeltown Road, LS7 3AP

We’re excited to launch Glow in the Dark Cricket in Yorkshire, a brand‑new project designed to bring our community together and introduce more people to the fun, energy and inclusivity of cricket.

This vibrant event will shine a light on three major celebrations happening around the same time: International Women’s Day, the ICC Cricket World Cup, and the Holi Festival which will be represented throughout the event.

At the heart of Glow in the dark is the unforgettable glow‑cricket experience: cricket sessions in a darkened sports hall, brought to life with UV lighting, neon equipment, and plenty of excitement for all ages and abilities.

Whether you’re picking up a bat for the first time or simply looking for a unique, family‑friendly event, Glow in the Dark Cricket is all about fun, community, and trying something new.

Get Set Weekend, powered by Toyota returns on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March 2026. Clubs across England and Wales will come together to prepare their grounds, refresh facilities and get everything in place for the season ahead.
But at its heart, Get Set Weekend is about celebrating the volunteers whose energy and commitment keep cricket thriving – from coaching juniors and preparing pitches to organising fixtures and running clubhouses.
