Yorkshire Cricket Foundation – Changing Lives Through Cricket! 

We bring people together through cricket – enriching lives, supporting wellbeing and ensuring everyone in Yorkshire can access and enjoy the game.  

By entering our prize draw, you will directly help fund this work while standing a chance to win something incredible! 

THE PRIZES 

  • Prize: Harry Brook’s bat – signed 

The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered. 

HOW TO ENTER (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY) 

  1. To enter, participants can purchase prize draw entries via this Crowdfunder campaign. Entrants may enter as many times as they like.
  2. Free entry is also available by post. See the prize draw page for the free entry postal address. Further details about the free entry route rules are below.
  3. Ticket Price: Tickets cost £10 each.
  4. Ticket: Your confirmation email serves as both your proof of purchase and your prize draw ticket. Please keep it safe, as you may need to present it to claim your prize. 

Gift Aid Warning: Please do NOT opt-in for Gift Aid on your donation. Because this donation enters you into a prize draw, it is legally ineligible for Gift Aid under HMRC rules. 

 

FREE ENTRY 

  • Free entry to the prize draw is available by post, and full details on how to enter for free are clearly displayed on the Crowdfunder project page. 
  • To enter by post, entrants must send their full name, contact details, and the name of the prize draw on a postcard or in an envelope with correctly paid postage. 
  • Entries must be sent via post and will not be accepted if delivered by hand. 
  • Entries with insufficient or incorrect postage will be void. 
  • Only one entry is permitted per envelope or postcard. 
  • Free postal entries will be given an equal chance of winning as paid entries. 
  • IMPORTANT – the closing date to receive free postal entries is Wednesday 19th August 

 

LEGAL TERMS & CONDITIONS 

This prize draw is organised and run strictly in accordance with UK Gambling Commission regulations. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following terms: 

  • Eligibility: The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years and over. Employees of Yorkshire Cricket Foundation, Yorkshire Cricket Club and their immediate families, as well as anyone connected with the draw, are not eligible to enter. 
  • Age Restriction: You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a ticket or participate. Underage gambling is an offence. Tickets purchased by anyone under 18 will be void, entry money returned, and any prize forfeited. 
  • Prize Draw Dates: The prize draw opens at 0:01am on Thursday 6th August and closes at 23:59pm on Thursday 20th August. Entries received outside this period will not be counted. IMPORTANT – the closing date to receive free postal entries is Wednesday 19th August.  
  • Draw Method and Winner Selection: Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries using a verified random generator.  

The draw will take place on Friday 21st August, and the winner(s) will be notified via email or telephone within 7 days of the draw taking place.  

All winners must be 18 or over. Winners will be required to provide photographic proof of age (e.g., driving licence or passport) before receiving their prize. Winners who cannot prove they are 18+ will be disqualified and an alternative winner may be selected. 

Winners must claim their prize by responding to Yorkshire Cricket Foundation via email or telephone within 28 days of being notified. Failure to claim the prize in time will result in another winner being drawn. 

Following notification, Yorkshire Cricket Foundation will liaise with each winner to arrange a suitable method of prize delivery. Yorkshire Cricket Foundation will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of all prizes. Delivery is available to United Kingdom addresses only. Alternatively, prizes may be collected from Headingley Stadium on non-match days. 

Winners will be announced publicly via the Crowdfunder page and Yorkshire Cricket Foundation social media channels within 7 days of the close date. Further details about publicity are below. 

  • No Alternatives: Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternatives are available.  
  • Personal Data: Any personal data collected for the purpose of this prize draw will be used solely for administering the draw and contacting the winner(s). 

The data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation and will not be shared with third parties without the entrant’s consent.

PUBLICITY 

By entering, winners agree to allow Yorkshire Cricket Foundation to use their name and image for publicity purposes, unless they request anonymity at the time of claiming the prize.

DISCLAIMERS AND AMENDMENTS 

  • Yorkshire Cricket Foundation reserves the right to amend or cancel the prize draw if circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable. Any changes will be communicated on the Crowdfunder page and via Yorkshire Cricket Foundations social media channels. 
  • Crowdfunder is not the promoter of this prize draw and is not liable for the content or operation of this prize draw.
