What a fantastic summer of cricket we’ve had in West Yorkshire at our YCF Enjoy Cricket Summer Camps!

We kicked things off at Garforth Parish Church CC on Monday 27th & Tuesday 28th July, the fun continued at Sandal CC on Wednesday 29th & Thursday 30th July. Our final two camps took place at Low Moor Holy Trinity CC on Monday 3rd & Tuesday 4th August and Guiseley CC on Wednesday 5th & Thursday 6th August.
All four camps were packed with enthusiasm, determination and fantastic sportsmanship, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Across eight action-packed days, young people embraced every opportunity to develop their skills, challenge themselves and build their confidence both on and off the field.

For many, these camps provide an introduction to cricket and the chance to pick up a bat or ball for the very first time. To help continue that journey, all families received information about their local host club, providing opportunities for young players to stay involved in the game and become part of their local cricket community.
Most importantly, the camps were filled with laughter, friendship and a genuine love of cricket. We are incredibly proud of the way participants supported, encouraged and included one another throughout the week. Their positive attitudes, willingness to learn and determination to give everything a go helped make each camp such a success.
A huge thank you to our host clubs, coaches, volunteers and supporters for helping to create such a welcoming and enjoyable environment. Most of all, thank you to the children, whose enthusiasm and passion made the camps so memorable.
🏏 Four camps. Eight fantastic days. Countless memories made.
Keep an eye out for future summer camps here!
