Seven teams of boys under the age of 16 from Leeds, Bradford and Sheffield enjoyed an unforgettable opportunity to play cricket on the famous Headingley pitch.

The young people took part in an eight-a-side tournament, with many experiencing the stadium and playing on a professional ground for the first time.
The day was about much more than cricket. Yorkshire Cricket Foundation delivered Movember’s Ahead of the Game sessions, while Titan Wealth provided money management workshops, giving the young people an opportunity to develop important skills away from the pitch.
One young participant said: “It’s been amazing to play here, a brilliant day. I never thought I’d play at Headingley and I’ll remember it for the rest of my life.”

Ali, Head of Community Programmes at Yorkshire Cricket Foundation, said: “Many of the world’s top cricket stars have played on this pitch, so this was a truly special opportunity for the young people involved. We are incredibly grateful to Titan Wealth for making the day possible. Cricket was only one part of the experience, and it was equally important that the young people took something valuable away from the mental health and money management sessions.”
The day would not have been possible without the generous support of Titan Wealth. Yorkshire Cricket Foundation would like to thank everyone at Titan Wealth for helping to create such a special and memorable experience for the young people.
