The 2026 Vitality U15 Club T20 competition once again showcased the strength of junior cricket across Yorkshire, with 27 clubs from across the county entering this year’s competition and providing young players with the opportunity to compete in a highly competitive T20 environment throughout the summer.
Following several rounds of exciting cricket, the competition culminated in the Yorkshire Final, where Lightcliffe CC faced Harrogate CC in a high-quality contest between two of the county’s leading junior sides.
Lightcliffe produced an excellent all-round performance to defeat Harrogate in a nail-biting event and retain their title, becoming back-to-back Yorkshire U15 Club T20 champions. The victory is a fantastic achievement for the club and players, who have demonstrated consistency, skill and determination throughout the competition.
As Yorkshire champions, Lightcliffe CC will now progress to the ECB Vitality Club T20 National Round 2, where they will take on the winners from Cheshire as they continue their quest for national success.
